Moon's Nodes Karma

With a country tired from War and Social Change, President Harding came to office with the promise of a return to "Normalcy." In trying to calm a nation weary of turbulent times, he fulfilled the karma of the Seventh House North Node in Libra.

Yet his personal appointees (South Node in Aries in the First House) were his undoing, as their selfish greed would surely have destroyed his Presidency if not for the fact that he died just as their scandalous rackets became exposed.

The Aries-Libra Nodes had left the country with a very interesting question. How much should a President have autonomous self-leadership (Aries South Node in the First House) and how much should he sacrifice himself for others and the country he loves (Libra North Node in the Seventh House, where it rules)?

This lesson of balance, (Libra North Node) has since then become an important test for the Presidency to this very day.
