Moon's Nodes Karma

When Calvin Coolidge took office, amidst the scandals of Harding's administration, he brought an honesty to the Presidency (Sagittarius South Node) that had been sorely lacking. The Gemini and Sagittarius Nodes are mutable, and often show up at a time in history when thoughts (Gemini) and attitudes (Sagittarius) need to be changed.

Coolidge helped the economy thrive, for he seemed to know how to communicate confidence (Gemnini North Node in the father-like, Saturn-ruled, Tenth House) to a country that was ready to listen.

These (masculine-mutable) Sagittarius-Gemini Nodes brought such an optimistic mood to a country that had felt deceived, that during his presidency, a prosperous attitude began to pervade the country that lasted throughout his presidential term.

History teaches us that goodness expands until it reaches its maximum, before giving way to bad (and vice versa). Shortly after Coolidge left office, the economy fell into the worst depression ever.
