If you cannot find the email we sent you.
Please look in your junk and trash email folders. Sometimes your email filters put mail there, even
though it should put it in your inbox.
If you do not see it in either of these folders, open a browser and go to the webmail account
your internet service provider gives you. This is where mail is received before it reaches your
computer. In this account, make sure to look in the inbox, junk and trash folders. Your internet
service provider also has spam filters and sometimes holds mail on its server if it mistakenly
thinks it is spam.
If you have more than one email account, please be sure that the email address you gave to paypal
is working. This is where we sent your password. If this address is unavailable, then
please contact us at cs.info@classiclegendbooks.com and give us the alternate email address you
have that is working so that we can send you your password(s).
So this does not cause confusion in the future, please be sure the email address you give
when you make your purchase(s) can receive email. Sometimes a server is down and you
might not be aware of it. You can test this by sending an email to the email address you gave us.
If this does not work, then please contact your internet service provider to resolve the
issue, since we will not be able to reach you until your email is working.
Be sure to put http://classiclegendbooks.com in your white list (allowed sites list)
so that passwords and instructions sent from us to you will not be blocked as spam.

Password Help
If you have your password(s) and are experiencing difficulty with a download, here is a list
of the most common download problems and how to solve them.
Q. I entered the user name and password, but it is asking for it again.
A. The entry you made is incorrect. These are the possible reasons,
1. Turn CAPS LOCK off. Using the shift key with the CAPS LOCK on will get
unpredictable results.
2. User names and Passwords are case-sensitive "s" is not the same as "S".
3. Make sure there is no white space before, after or between characters.
examples: "123"=right. " 123"=wrong. "1 23 "=wrong.
4. User names and Passwords are not interchangeable. If both are asked for,
the User name always goes in the top box first. Make sure not to put both
User name and Password in the same box.
5. Make sure you did not type the same character twice. Compare the number
of characters in the password you typed with the password we gave you.
6. The number zero (0) is not the same as the letter (O). The letter is wider.
7. Make sure you click on the book you purchased. Audio Books and PDF Books have
different user names and passwords. If you purchased the Audio Book, your user name
and password will only work for the Audio Book (not the PDF book). Conversely, if you
purchased the PDF Book, your user name and password will only work for the PDF Book
(not the Audio Book).
8. Make sure you are entering the exact password that was sent to you and not a password
from another website or another email. PDF book Dowload Passwords are different than PDF book
Open Passwords and cannot be used interchangeably. Please be sure you are using the right
one in the right place.
9. If your browser is set to save your passwords and you type either the user name
or the password incorrectly on the first try, then no password you enter after that
will be recognized because your browser thinks the wrong password is right.
You can fix this in one of two ways.
1. Go to the options menu on your browser and find what tab has access to your
saved passwords. Find the classic legend books password that you typed incorrectly
and delete it. Then close your browser. Wait a few seconds. Reopen the browser.
Then try your user name and password again.
or
2. Try to enter your user name and password using a different browser.
Q. Why does my screen freeze after I enter the password?
A. The username/password box will freeze the browser window behind it until you enter the
user name and password correctly. If your browser window is full size, it will seem as
if your entire screen is frozen.
Shrink the browser window smaller so you can view your email and browser at the same time. Then
copy from your email and paste the user name and password into the boxes waiting for them in
the browser.
Q. What is an open password? Why doesn't it work?
A. The open password is different than the download password. Once you have downloaded the
book you will no longer need the download password, but you will use the open password every time
you open the book to read it. This is a security measure to protect your book from being hacked on
your computer.
Be sure you are entering the open password when it asks for it, and not the download password again.
Q. Why does Quicktime try to play files instead of letting them download?
A. If you are using an Apple computer or Apple-related system, Quicktime may be your
default sound player. It steps in front of any file you click, attemting to play it,
instead of letting you download the file.
What you can do to work around this,
1. Use the Firefox browser. Hold down control while clicking on the file, then "save link as",
then open it to the folder where it is saved (itunes if you're using an Apple computer.)
You can get the Firefox browser free
here.
or
2. Disable Quicktime. Finish downloading, then turn it back on.
To disable Quicktime,
- Launch QuickTime Player
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences
- Click QuickTime Preferences...
- Select the Browser tab, and click MIME Settings...
- Expand the section MPEG - MPEG system, video, and audio files
- Uncheck the entry named MPEG audio
- Also, uncheck entire MP3 - MPEG layer III movies and streams
- Click OK
To enable Quicktime,
Follow above list, recheck the boxes you unchecked. Click OK
or
3. Change the settings on your computer so that Quicktime is not your default sound player.
You can make Windows Media Player, Winamp or any other sound player installed on your computer
into the default player simply by opening the player's options or preferences tab and checking
the box selecting it as default player.
Q. I downloaded the PDF and it said "done but with errors.".
A. There are browser settings in Internet Explorer (and some other browsers) which
report script errors for the purpose of debugging programs while they are being
constructed. This kind of error-reproting is not necesssary for program use and
most often the errors have no effect on how the program runs.
In internet Explorer you can go to Tools/Internet Options/ Browsing and study the
following three checkboxes. Make sure to check and uncheck these boxes as shown
below.
checked: Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
checked: Disable script debugging (Other)
unchecked: Display a notification about every script error
Then click OK. Close Internet Explorer. Reopen Internet Explorer. Your downloads
will not report script errors. If you like, you can Download
your book again to see the script debugging error reporting is off.
When you argue with a fool, make sure he isn't doing the same thing.
