A Word from the Author
Socrates was one of the great philosophers of Athens. He was also the teacher of
Plato and is credited with founding what has come to be known as the Western Philosophy.
Yet, his ways were often extreme, even
radically unorthodox.
Perhaps the inability of students to see the obvious must
have frustrated Socrates more than we can imagine. Our next story comes from this kind
of circumstance.-
